I am popping this up here, for anyone who saw the Néalta shawl at the S Twist Wool booth at the Leipziger Wollefest and is looking for the pattern! If you would like to be notified when the digital pattern goes live, please send me an email or message me on ravelry.
Néalta is a new pattern collaboration with S Twist Wool, debuting at the Leipziger Wollefest on the 3rd of March.
From the pattern description:
An ode to the dramatics of the Irish sky, Néalta evokes the movement of clouds over a wind-swept landscape.
An elongated crescent shawlette, Néalta is knitted from the top down in garter stitch, with lace inserts throughout the body, and fluttery ruffles along the edge. It can be worn as a traditional shawl, or styled as a wrap or scarf.
Working above gauge in S Twist Wool’s finest single-ply gives Néalta (meaning ‘clouds’ in Irish) a soft, springy, and buoyant quality which harmonies beautifully with its celestial aesthetics.
I absolutely loved making this shawl and working with the S Twist Wool single-ply yarn. More details after the pattern release!
